Job Duties

To facilitate various destination events in line with Brand values and Shurooq cultural and social responsibility policies.

• Plan, conceptualise and develop events based on scope identified by Destination Manager
• Work with Destination Manager to develop an events calendar, theme for events
• Work with Destination Manager to define a budget and objective for each event and ensure events are executed within the budgets defined
• Collaborate with Corporate Branding and Creative team to develop plans for promoting events and generating participation and awareness
• Work with Procurement in identifying external events organisers to design and conduct events as per scope and specification to cater to requirements of destination
• Execute and coordinate events including venue management, food and beverages management, contractors and equipment hire, guest list preparation and distribution of invitations
• Maintain checklists and ensure all events collaterals such as nametags, registration lists, seating cards are prepared for each event
• Ensure events conducted meet the quality, health and safety standards defined
• Supervise event management to ensure smooth and seamless conduct as well as adherence to budget and brand guidelines
• Prepare reports on event performance
• Work with events team in corporate for assistance and guidance on big events
